Jupiter Real Estate
The Town of Jupiter is located on the north end of Palm Beach County at the mouth of Loxahatchee River. Jupiter is marked by the familiar landmark of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Completed in 1860 and first lit in 1865, this red brick lighthouse served as a beacon to mark the submerged reefs off Jupiter Inlet, which had caused several shipwrecks. Visitors today can climb the 105 steps to the top to the structure, now preserved by the Loxahatchee River Historical Society.
Jupiter was originally home to a tribe of Hobe Native Americans. The name "Hobe" was recorded incorrectly on a map at "Jove," which was later misunderstood as a translation for the Roman god Jupiter. The neighboring town of Juno Beach's name was inspired by Jupiter in mythology, Juno was the wife of Jupiter. At the turn of the 20th century, Jupiter served as a pioneer town for fishermen and animal trappers. It was incorporated as a township in the 1920s and developed as a bedroom community after World War II.
Today, Jupiter is home to more than 46,000 residents and offers a number of cultural and recreational attractions. Roger Dean Stadium serves as the spring training home for the Florida Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals, while the minor leagues Jupiter Hammerheads and Palm Beach Cardinals play here during the regular season. Moroso Motorsports Park is a popular attraction for racing enthusiasts, with a 2.25-mile, ten-turn road course, a ¼-mile drag strip, a skid pad and a .9-mile asphalt kart track.

The Spa at Jupiter Beach Resort offers the perfect locale for a day of relaxation, the Jupiter Dunes Golf Course will challenge your game and you could easily spend the day perusing the shops in the Town Center.
